A gorgeous and colorful pair of earrings from the Edwardian (ca1910s) era! Crafted in 18k white and yellow gold, each earring begins with a diamond-encrusted surmount. Each surmount features a bead-set mine cut diamond, which is surrounded by a floral-motif frame. The floral-motif frame features delicate milgrain-detailing, and is followed by a diamond-encrusted, marquise-shaped link. Each earring then features a teardrop-shaped component, which is further adorned with sparkling stones. The base of each teardrop-shaped link features an additional bead-set mine cut diamond, which is encircled by a square-shaped frame. The diamond is surrounded by a "halo" of 4 baguette cut sapphires, which are channel-set and display a deep, luscious blue hue. The remainder of the teardrop-shaped components feature bead-set rose cut diamonds, geometric-cutouts, and milgrain-detailing. Overall, all of the diamonds have an approximate total carat eight of 1.25ctw, and the sapphires have an approximate total carat weight of 1ctw. The earrings are completed by gold posts and snap-backs. A gorgeous pair, these earrings would be perfect for any upcoming event or special occasion!
Measurements: The earrings have a total height of 1 3/4" and measure 3/8" at their widest point.
Condition: The earrings are overall in excellent condition. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting, and all of the stones are intact and securely set. The posts and snap-backs are securely attached and in working order.
