A gorgeous mixed metal sapphire and diamond ring from the Edwardian (ca1910s) era! Crafted in 18k yellow gold and platinum, this ring features a central, bezel-set Ceylon sapphire. The 1ct sapphire display an incredibly vibrant blue hue, and has not been treated with heat. The sapphire is nestled between 2 old European cut diamonds, which are both bead-set and further surrounded by square-shaped frames. Together, the diamonds have an approximate total carat weight of 1.50ctw, and display H/I color and VS1-SI1 clarity. The gallery of the ring features a gorgeous "ray"-motif cutout design, and the remainder of the band is smooth and simple. A one-of-a-kind piece, this ring would make a lovely addition to any Edwardian-era jewelry collection!
Measurements: The ring is currently a size 7.5, but could easily be resized. The band has a width of 1.4mm.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold and platinum setting. All of the stones are intact and securely set.
