Edwardian 18kt/Platinum Pearl + Diamond Bar Pin 3ctw
SKU:44654
A beautiful pearl and diamond bar pin from the Edwardian (ca1910) era! Crafted in 18kt yellow gold and topped in platinum, this piece features 24 Old Mine Cut diamonds and a single white pearl. The diamonds graduate towards the center of the pin and weigh an approximate total of 3ctw. The pearl rests atop a scalloped base, and the body of the pin has a polished surface with lovely scrollwork detail. The pin clasp is secured by a hidden lever. It has a wonderful Edwardian look and would make a special addition to any collection!
Measurements: The pin measures approximately 3" long. The bar pin measures slightly less than 5/32" wide and the pearl measures about 1/4" in diameter.
Condition: The pin is in overall excellent condition. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting. All of the diamonds are intact and securely set. The pearl is in excellent condition. It displays pin-sized dents, typical of normal wear, and they do not detract from the beauty of the piece. The pin clasp fastens securely and is in good working condition.
