An absolutely exquisite navette ring from the Edwardian (ca1900s) era! Crafted in platinum, this ring features a navette-style centerpiece, which is encrusted with sapphires and diamonds! The centermost stone is a 2ct cushion cut sapphire, which is held within a bezel-setting, and displays a deep, luscious blue hue. The sapphire is complemented on both the top and bottom by 2 large mine cut diamonds, which are also bezel-set. Together, the mine cut diamonds have an approximate total carat weight of 2.50ctw, and display I/J color and VS2-SI1 clarity. The sapphire is complemented on the left and right by a line of calibrated, channel-set sapphires, which display a similar hue. The remainder of the elaborate centerpiece is encrusted with bead-set single cut diamonds and geometric-cutouts. The band is smooth and simple, and the inside of the shank is stamped "IRID10" and "PLATINUM". A breathtaking ring, this piece would make a one-of-a-kind addition to any antique jewelry collection!
Measurements: The ring is a size 9.25, but could easily be resized. The band has a width of 1.85mm, and the centerpiece measure 1 1/16" tall and 3/4" wide.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting. All of the sapphires and diamonds are intact and securely set.
