Born in Florence, Elsa Peretti's first introduction with her collection began at Tiffany & Co. in 1974. During that time her collection debuted to high acclaim. Her inspiration in jewelry came from nature with elements such as bones, beans, hearts, scorpions, snakes, teardrops and sea-shells. Peretti's designs are translated in a wide variety of materials, however her most popular designs are her works in silver.
A lovely pendant necklace designed for Tiffany & Co. by Elsa Peretti! Crafted in 18k vibrant yellow gold, this necklace begins with a lengthy cable chain, which secures with a spring ring clasp, and features a small bar, which is marked"PERETTI" and "TIFFANY & CO." signatures. The chain is accompanied by a unique apple pendant, which features a smooth and simple surface. The bottom of the pendant is stamped with an "18K" purity mark, and both the Elsa Peretti and Tiffany & Co. signatures. The top of the pendant features a complimentary chain, which allows the apple to move freely along the chain. A phenomenal example of Elsa Peretti's creativity, this pendant necklace would make a bold addition to any jewelry collection!
Measurements: The chain has a total length of 29”. The pendant has a height of 1 1/4" and a width of 1 1/8".
Condition: The overall condition of the pendant necklace is excellent. The gold chain and pendant are both secure and intact, and the spring ring clasp is secure and in working order.
