A beautiful pair of carved jade earrings! Crafted in 14k yellow gold, each earring begins with a "turnip-shaped" gold surmount. The earrings then feature a thick, crescent-shaped cap, which is attached to a hand carved jade plaque. Both oblong plaques feature wonderful carvings, which add wonderful texture to the jade components. The jade displays a soft green hue, and features subtle white marbling. The earrings are completed by simple gold posts and friction backs. A colorful and unique pair, these earrings would make a great addition to any jewelry collection!
Measurements: Each earring hangs approximately 2" in total length. The carved jade drops measure 1 3/8" long and 5/8" wide.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the yellow gold surmounts, posts, or friction backs. Both carved jade plaques are secure and free from any chips or damage.
