Estate 14k Opal Collar Style Choker Necklace

An unusual and stately Estate gold and opal collar-style necklace! This bold piece is composed of 14k solid yellow gold articulated panel-style links that come together to form a comfortable and apparently seamless, flexible collar. Adorning the gold necklace are five very large prong-set white opal cabochons including two oval, two pear shaped, and one diamond-shaped stone. The estimated carat weights of the stones are as follows; the ovals each weigh approximately 3.0-3.10ctw/each, the pears approximately 3.3-3.5ctw/each, and the center stone we estimate at 6.25ctw. In total, we estimate the carat weight of the translucent white opals to be approximately 19ctw. The opals flash with incredible vibrance and color, with speckles of yellow, green, pink, orange, and purple. A full rainbow feast for the eyes! The necklace itself comes to a close with a simple box clasp outfitted with a figure-eight safety catch for added security. The necklace is marked "14K ITALY" on the box clasp. All in all, this fabulous red-carpet-worthy accessory is eagerly awaiting its new home!
Measurements: The necklace measures approximately 18" long and 1/2" wide.
Condition: The overall condition of the necklace is excellent. There is little to no wear to the gold setting, the opals are secure in their prongs and free of chips or cracks.
