Estate 18k Carved Onyx, Sapphire, & Diamond Intaglio Ring

A lovely intaglio ring! Crafted in vibrant 18k yellow gold, this ring features a bezel-set, carved onyx intaglio. The intaglio depicts the side profile of a gladiator, adorned in a plumed helmet. The intaglio is nestled between 2, scroll-shaped adornments, which are decorated on each end with a bezel-set sapphire cabochon. The sapphires display a deep, luscious blue hue, which wonderfully contrasts the yellow gold mounting. Additionally, each "scroll" features a singular bezel-set modern round brilliant cut diamond at their center. The ring is completed by texturizing engravings, which adorn the "scrolls", centerpiece, and shoulders of the ring. The band of the piece features a ribbed design. A bold piece, this ring would make a special addition to any Estate-era collection!

Measurements: The ring is currently a size 2.25, but could easily be resized. The band has a width of 4.45mm.

Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. There is no apparent damage to the gold setting, and all of the stones are intact and securely set.
