Georgian 15k Fancy Textured Link Chain Bracelet

An absolutely exquisite gold chain bracelet from the Georgian (ca1750) era! This beautiful, handmade piece is crafted in bloomed 15k yellow gold and comprised of fabulous textured links that interlock, forming an intricate, bold chain bracelet. Each gold link has rich, golden color and each link is half smoothly polished and half a knurled texture. The texture of the links almost resembles scales on a snake. The bracelet fastens at an ornate clasp which features elaborate foliate repoussé across the surface. The bracelet is incredibly lightweight and comfortable to wear. A small hallmark can be found near the clasp, which we estimate signifies Austrian origin. An impeccably made piece it is versatile enough for everyday wear, and is perfect antique jewelry lover's collection!
Measurements: The chain measures approximately 8 1/4" long and just under 1/2" wide. The bracelet weighs 20.3g.
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to any of the links and the clasp is secure and in good working condition.
