A gorgeous diamond pendant from the Georgian (ca1700s) era! This beautiful piece, which is crafted in 14k gold sterling silver, is oval and shape, and encrusted with diamonds. The body of the pendant is encrusted with 12 rose cut diamonds, which vary in size, but are all held within multi-prong settings. Overall, the diamonds have an approximate total carat weight of .80ctw and display J/K color and VS clarity. The top of the pendant also features a scrolling-motif design. An additional .60ct rose cut diamond is located within the central negative space of the pendant, and is able to move freely. This larger stone displays J color and VS2 clarity. The top of the piece features a complementary fluted bail, which is decorated with intricate etchings. The backside of the pendant features a small swan hallmark, which indicates that the piece is French in origin. This brilliant and eye-catching piece is a magnificent pendant and looks simply stunning when worn!
Measurements: The pendant hangs approximately 1 3/8" long and is slightly more than 5/8" wide.
Condition: The overall condition of the pendant is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold or platinum setting. All of the diamonds are secure and intact and the complementary bail is in working condition.
