A fabulous and bold figural ring from the Georgian (ca1830s) era! This unique 3-dimensional piece is crafted in sterling silver and portrays the bodies of two women holding a purple sapphire atop their backs in unison. The women have bare torsos, flowing hair, and are adorned in waist-level drapery. Held between the two women is an emerald cut, bezel-set purple sapphire. The unique tone of the purple sapphire beautifully contracts the sterling silver. The back of the shank is smooth and adds to the overall delicate nature of the ring. When worn, the ring makes a fabulous statement piece, perfect for any collection!
Measurement: The ring has a finger size 7, but it could be resized slightly.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the silver setting. The purple sapphire is intact and free of chips or scratches.
