Georgian Spanish 18k Emerald Cross Pendant

A breathtaking Spanish cross pendant from the Georgian (ca1780s) era! Crafted in vibrant 18k yellow gold, this ornate cross pendant is decorated with luscious green emeralds. The center of the cross features a bezel-set, round cut emerald. The remainder of the piece is adorned with 7, bezel-set, baguette cut emeralds, which vary slightly in size and exact shape. Overall, the emeralds have an approximate total carat weight of 1.50ctw. The cross also features delicate engravings, scrolling and foliage-motifs, and small three-dimensional gold balls. The backside of the pendant featurs a hidden bail, which would allow the piece to easily attach to an antique gold chain. Measurements: The pendant has a total length of 1 3/8" and measures 7/8" at its widest point.

Condition: The pendant is in excellent antique condition. There is no apparent damage to the gold setting, and all of the emeralds are intact and securely set. The hidden bail is intact and in working order.
