A beautiful pendant necklace by Krementz from the Art Deco (ca1920s) era! Crafted in 14k white gold, this necklace begins with a dainty chain, which is comprised of rectangular and oval-shaped links. The necklace secures with a simple spring ring clasp. The chain is accompanied by a rectangular rock quartz crystal plaque, which is held within a bezel-setting adorned with intricate milgrain detailing. The rock quartz crystal features a reverse carved starburst-motif image, which adds to the beautiful look of the pendant. The center of the pendant features a marquise-shaped design, which features dark green and black enameling, and a small old mine cut diamond, which is bead-set and surrounded by a box frame. The diamond has an approximate carat weight of .10ct and displays I/J color and SI1 clarity. The top of the pendant features a lovely bail, which is stamped "14K" and with the Krementz maker's mark. A lovely example of Art Deco-era craftsmanship, this pendant necklace would make a great addition to any collection!
Measurements: The necklace has a total length of 18". The pendant hangs 1 3/4" long (including the bail) and has a width of 5/8".
Condition: The overall condition of the piece is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the white gold chain or pendant. The rock quartz crystal, diamond, and enameling are all intact. The bail and spring ring clasp are both secure and in working order.
