Marsh & Company opened in the San Francisco area in 1876. Originally selling Asian art, the company soon branched out into jewelry. From the late 1940’s to the early 1960’s the company became well known for its use of oxidized steel in making their unique pieces of jewelry!

A fabulous vintage Marsh & Company platinum and steel link bracelet from the 1950’s! This gorgeous bracelet is crafted in bright platinum and comprised of ten decorative links adorned with pearls at the center and spaced with bead-set single-cut diamond encrusted platinum half-round links. The ten decorative links are topped with blackened steel to give the bracelet the signature Marsh look. The links alternate with 8mm and 5mm pearls that display a beautiful silvery-white luster. The large links also feature an airline accented with fine milgrain detail, and even the backside of each link is finely etched with floral detail. The spacers feature fine scalloped engraving on the sides, adding even more incredible detail to the piece. The bracelet comes to a close at one of the spacer links fitted with a hidden latch-style clasp and attached safety chain. The backside of the link affixed to the clasp is marked "PLATINUM MARSH'S", making this piece incredibly rare as one of few signed Marsh & Co. bracelets. A fine example of the famed designer's craft, this collectible platinum and pearl bracelet is one of a kind and ready for a serious collector to appreciate it!

Measurements: The bracelet measures approximately 7" long, 5/8" at its widest point. The pearls measure between 5mm and 8mm in diameter.

Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum or steel setting. The clasp is secure and in good working condition. All of the diamonds and pearls are secure in their settings.
