This beautiful citrine necklace from the Art Nouveau (ca1910s) era is a lovely signed piece by Peruzzi! Crafted in sterling silver, this necklace begins with a highly-intricate chain, which is comprised of foliage-motif, woven knot, and blooming floral-motif links. The center of the necklace features three large, three-dimensional rose links. Nestled between the large rose links are two oval-cut citrine stones, which are held within braided bezel-settings. The citrines are wonderfully faceted and display a rich orange hue. A beautiful extension hangs form the center of the chain, and features an additional, larger citrine. The citrine is complemented on both the top and bottom by foliage and rose-motifs. The necklace secures with a simple spring ring clasp, which is stamped "2012KGF". The underside of the large citrine link is marked with the Peruzzi signature, a "STERLING" purity mark, and the words: "MADE IN ITALY". A fabulous necklace, this piece would be perfect for any special event or occasion!
Measurement: The necklace measures 16.5" long, and the central citrine extension measures 1 3/4" long and 1" wide.
Condition: The overall condition of the necklace is excellent. There is no apparent damage to the sterling silver chain or links, and all of the citrine stones are secure and intact. The spring ring clasp is intact and in working order.
