A gorgeous pair of diamond studs from the early Retro (ca1930s) era! Crafted in 14kt white gold, each feminine earring features a Round Cut diamond held within an ornate setting. The sparkling diamonds weigh approximately 0.50ctw combined, with estimated H-I range color and SI1 clarity. Each diamond is suspended in a raised prong setting, encircled by a scalloped "buttercup" frame and resting securely on the back is a simple white gold post and earring back. A perfect pair of everyday earrings, they are both classic and stylish!
Measurements: The front of each earring (the diamond within its surrounding border) measures approximately 9.5mm in diameter. When measured from the side, the diamonds within the raised prongs rest 5.5mm high against the ear.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or to the diamonds, which are intact and securely set. The posts and earring backs are secure and in good condition.
