A lovely pair of aquamarine earrings from the Retro (ca1940s) era! Crafted in 18k yellow and white gold, these earrings being with a highly-ornate surmount. The surmount, which is crafted in sleek white gold, incorporates a dainty swirling motif. The motif is encrusted with bead-set single cut diamonds. The surmount also features a subtle trefoil-motif, which is comprised of 3 prong-set diamonds. The earrings then feature a vertical row of 4 prong-set diamonds. Overall, the small diamonds have an approximate total carat weight of .5ctw, and display H/I color and VS1-VS2 clarity. The bottom of each earring features a large pear cut aquamarine, which is held within a four-prong setting, and displays an incredible vibrant blue hue. Together, the aqua stones have an approximate total carat weight of 15ctw. The earrings are completed by simple posts and omega backs, and the backside of each earring is stamped "18K". An eye-catching pair, these earrings would be perfect for any special event or occasion!
Measurements: Each earring hangs approximately 1 5/8" long and measures 1/2".
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting, and all of the stones are secure and intact. The earring posts and omega backs are both secure and in working order.
