Retro Chinese 14k Turquoise Nugget Necklace

A lovely turquoise necklace from the Retro (ca1940s) era! Crafted in 14k yellow gold, this necklace is comprised of a single strand of turquoise "nuggets". All of the nuggets are strung and individually knotted on teal thread, and vary in size and shape. The turquoise stones also vary slightly in color, incorporating teal and greenish-blue hues. Additionally, all of the turquoise stones feature natural "matrix" inclusions. The piece secures with a solid gold, oval-shaped push clasp, which features a singular, bezel-set turquoise cabochon. The tongue of the push clasp is marked with a "14K" purity mark. A stunning piece, this necklace would look exquisite worn alone, or paired with other Retro-era necklaces!
