An exquisite diamond engagement ring from the Retro (ca1940s) era! Crafted in platinum, this beautiful ring features a 2.19ct old mine cut diamond, which is held within a six-prong setting. The diamond displays H color and SI1 clarity. Each shoulder of the ring features a single channel-set baguette cut diamond , which have an approximate total carat weight of .30ctw and display H/I color and VS1-VS2 clarity. The remainder of the band is smooth and simple, and the outside of the shank is marked with a small hallmark, which indicates that the piece was created in France. The ring is accompanied by a GIA (Gemological Institute of America) Report #7506280405, which provides more information on the center stone. An eye-catching ring, this piece would make a spectacular engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring is a size 7.75, but could easily be resized. The band has a width of 2.4mm.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting or to any of the diamonds, all of which are secure and intact.
