A wonderful locket from the Retro (ca1940s) era! This gold-filled square-shaped locket represents a small book! The front of the book features an engraved striped-pattern, and features a rectangular frame, which would be perfect for adding a personal engraving. The backside of the book is smooth and simple. The side of the piece features a discreet latch, which allows the book to open, revealing two small oval-shaped compartments. Both compartments are covered by a glass frame, and would be perfect for storing a sentimental photo. The top of the locket features a complimentary bail, which would allow the piece to easily attach to a favorite chain or charm bracelet. The inside of the piece is stamped: "1/20 12K GF". A darling locket, this piece would make a fantastic addition to any Retro-era jewelry collection!
