A beautiful diamond barette from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! Crafted in 14k yellow gold, the front surface of this piece features a swirling-motif. The surface of the curling-motif is encrusted with bead-set rose cut diamonds, which are phenomenally faceted. Overall, the diamonds have an approximate total carat weight of .60ctw. The backside of the piece features a barrette pin, which would allow the pin to easily be worn in any individual's hair. A rare and eye-catching piece, this barrette would make a lovely addition to any Victorian-era jewelry collection!
Measurements: The barrette has a length of 1 1/2" and a height of 1/2".
Condition: The barrette is in excellent condition. There is no apparent damage to the gold setting, and all of the diamonds are secure and intact. The barrette clasp is secure and in working order.
