A beautiful pair of diamond earrings from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! Crafted in 14k yellow gold, each earring begins with a diamond-encrusted surmount. The diamonds are held within eight-prong settings, and surrounded by a simple gold plaque. The earrings then feature a teardrop-shaped link, which is decorated with a dainty "curve" of bead-set rose cut diamonds. The remainder of the teardrop-shaped link is decorated with black enameling, which adds a wonderful depth to the earrings. Overall, the rose cut diamonds have an approximate total carat weight of .65ctw. The earrings are completed by simple gold earring wires. A dainty pair, these earrings would be perfect for any upcoming special event or occasion!
Measurements: The earrings hang approximately 1 1/4" long (including the earring wires) and have a width of 7/16".
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting, and the earring wires are secure and intact. All of the diamonds are intact and securely set, and there is no noticeable damage to the enameling.
