An exquisite diamond navette ring from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! Crafted in 14k yellow gold, this ring features 3 diamonds running vertically, resulting in the formation of a navette-style centerpiece. The diamonds, which vary slightly in size, are all old cushion cuts, and are held within shared prong-settings. The diamonds have an approximate total carat weight of .70ctw. The shoulders of the ring feature 2 distinct stripes of black enameling, which are bordered on both the top and bottom by subtle milgraining. The remainder of the band is smooth and simple. A fantastic piece, this ring would make a dashing addition to any antique jewelry collection!
Measurements: The ring is a size 7.25, but could easily be resized. The centerpiece has a height of 3/8" and a width of 1/4". The band has a width of 3.85mm.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting. All of the diamonds are secure and intact. There is some minor wear on the black enameling, which is to be expected off a piece of this age.
