A beautiful diamond ring from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! Crafted in 14k yellow and rose gold, the center of this ring features a .08ct old mine cut diamond, which is held within a six-prong setting. The diamond rests atop a raised floral-motif centerpiece, which is further bordered by a square-shaped panel. The shoulders and band of the ring feature delicate engravings, which depict blooming flower-motifs. The mixed metal engravings are highly intricate, and add to the dainty and feminine appeal of the ring. The back of the band is smooth and simple, and the inside of the shank features an original engraving, which reads: "W. Mo to Lo. S". The inside of the band also features a "14" purity mark. A fabulous ring, this piece would make a great addition to any antique jewelry collection!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 6.75, but could easily be resized. The band has a width of 4.2mm.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting and the diamond stone is intact.
