A dainty pair of turquoise earrings from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! Crafted in vibrant 14k yellow gold, each earring begins with a smooth gold ball surmount, which then attaches to a floral-motif surmount. The petals of the flower are represented by bead-set turquoise cabochons, and are surrounded by an additional border, which is comprised of small three-dimensional balls. The earrings then feature 2 dainty strands of cable chain, which lead to a larger floral-motif link which features an identical design to the smaller link. The earrings are completed by solid gold screw backs. A gorgeous pair, these earrings would blend seamlessly into any antique jewelry collection!
Measurements: Each earring hangs approximately 1 1/4" long, and measures 1/2" at their widest point.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or dainty chain. All of the turquoise stones are intact and securely set, and the screw backs are in working order.
