A fabulous diamond ring from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! Crafted in 18k yellow gold, this ring features 3 diamonds running vertically, resulting in the formation of a slightly slanted navette-style centerpiece. The 3 diamonds are all old mine cuts, and are each held within a six-prong setting. Together, the diamonds have an approximate total carat weight of .50ctw, and display G/H color and VS1-SI1 clarity. The shoulders of the ring each feature a vertical post, which are both decorated with small three-dimensional gold balls. The remainder of the band is represented by 3, distinct gold bands, which taper off into 2 bands as the ring progresses. The bands are fused together, which allows for a comfortable fit. A phenomenal example of Victorian-era craftsmanship, this ring would make a striking addition to any collection!
Measurements: The ring is a size 5.75, but could easily be resized. The centerpiece has a height of 5/8" and a width of 3/8". The band has a width of 2.75mm.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting. All of the diamonds are secure and intact.
