A breathtaking emerald and diamond halo ring from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! Crafted in vibrant 18k yellow gold, this ring features a central 1ct oval cut emerald, which is held within a bezel-setting. The emerald displays a luscious, deep green hue. The emerald is surrounded by a halo of old European cut diamonds, which are held within four-prong settings. The diamonds have an approximate total carat weight of 2.50ctw, and display H/I color and VS1-SI1 clarity. The gallery of the ring features a fabulous cutout-design, and the shoulders of the ring feature foliage and floral-motifs. The remainder of the band is smooth and simple. An impressive ring, this piece would make a magnificent addition to any antique jewelry collection!
Measurements: The ring is a size 6.25, but could easily be resized. The centerpiece has a height of 1/2" and a width of 1/2". The band has a width of 1.85mm.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting, and all of the stones are intact and securely set.
