A bold slide chain necklace from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! Crafted in 18k vibrant yellow gold, this piece begins with a lengthy snake chain. The snake chain secures with a lovely cylinder-shaped push clasp, which is adorned with dainty foliage and scrolling-motif engravings. The base of the snake chain features a watch swirl clasp, which would allow the wearer to attach their favorite antique fobs/pendants to the chain. The chain is completed by a cylinder-shaped slide mechanism, which is adorned with black enamel striping and subtle geometric engravings.
