An exquisite diamond halo ring from the Victorian era (ca1880s)! This gorgeous ring is crafted in 18k yellow gold and sterling silver, and features a central .65ct rose cut diamond, which is held within a bezel-setting. The diamond is surrounded by a halo of 12 prong-set rose cut diamonds. Each shoulder of the ring features a foliage-motif design, which is decorated with bead-set rose cut diamonds. The shoulder also features a bezel-set rose cut diamond, and the remainder of the band is smooth and simple. The smaller diamonds have an approximate total carat weight of .50ctw. A gorgeous piece, this ring would make a spectacular engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 6.75, but could easily be resized. The diamond centerpiece measures 3/8" tall, 3/8" wide, and rests about 1/4" high. The tapered band measures 1.96mm wide at the back.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or sterling silver setting, and all of the diamonds are intact and securely set.
