Victorian 9k Amethyst Hand-Motif Ring

A unique ring from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! Crafted in 9k yellow gold, this band of this ring is represented by a wrapping arm and hand. The gold hand is slightly open, grasping a prong-set, heart-shaped amethyst between its thumb and pointer finger. The amethyst displays a lovely, luscious purple hue, and is topped by a small crown. The hand is adorned with texturizing engravings, and the arm features a cuff. The remainder of the band is smooth and simple, and the inside of the shank is marked: "417" and "A9K". A magical piece, this ring would make a special addition to any antique jewelry collection!

Measurements: The ring is currently a size 8, but could easily be resized. The band has a width of 2.24mm.

Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. There is no apparent damage to the gold setting, and the amethyst is intact and securely set.
