A gorgeous coral bead necklace from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This lovely necklace is comprised of a single strand of graduated coral beads, which are hand strung on an orange thread. Each natural and undyed bead has a smoothly polished surface and displays a spectacular salmon color. The graduated beads meet at a barrel push clasp in the back for a secure closure. Measurements: The necklace measures approximately 20 3/4" in length. The largest bead, which is in the center of the strand, measures approximately 11mm wide and the smallest bead measures 4mm wide.
Condition: The overall condition of this necklace is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no serious damage to any of the beads, which are all intact and securely strung. The clasp is secure and in good working condition.
