A gorgeous citrine ring from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! Crafted in rosy 9k gold, this ring features a solitaire, bezel-set citrine cabochon. The citrine stone displays a lovely pale orange hue, which wonderfully complements the piece's mounting. The shoulders of the ring feature a split-design, and a subtle, banded detail. The remainder of the band is smooth and simple, and the inside of the shank is stamped with a maker's mark, which reads "MMJ", a crown-motif, "375" purity mark, lion-motif, and the letter "A". These hallmarks indicate that the piece was crafted in England. A colorful piece, this ring would make a dashing addition to any Victorian-era jewelry collection!
Measurements: The ring is a size 8.5, but could easily be resized. The band has a width of 3.3mm.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or to the citrine stone, which is intact and securely set.
