Victorian Petite Sterling/14kt Old Rose Cut Diamond Dangle Earrings
A delicate pair of diamond earrings from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! Each earring is crafted in 14kt gold topped in sterling silver, and carries a lovely petite dangling design. Freely swinging from the diamond studded surmount is a curved u-shaped bar link which adorns two old Rose Cut diamonds in the teardrop-shaped ends. The arms of both links extend to slightly different lengths and a soft 'leafy' shape attaches to the front, the perfect finishing touch. The earrings hang from yellow gold wires which adorn a bezel set old Mine Cut diamond at the base. A very sweet and feminine design, the earrings are ideal for day or night wear, and would complement any collection!
Measurements: Each earring hangs approximately 1 3/8" long, including the lever back wires, and measures a little less than 1/2" wide.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the silver topped gold setting or to the diamonds, all of which are intact and securely set. The earring wires are secure and in good working condition.
