A beautiful mixed metals bracelet from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This lovely sterling silver bangle features a wonderful aesthetic movement design that graces the front surface. Resting diagonally across the center of the design are raised block letters crafted in 9kt rose gold overlay that spell the word "SOUVENIR" (French for "Memory"). The floral motif features etched stems and leaves, along with raised flowers accented in rose and green gold overlay, giving wonderful texture to the tri-tone appearance. The smoothly polished wide bracelet is hinged, fastening with a push clasp at the side, and despite is substantial appearance, it's lightweight for comfortable wear. Whether worn alone or paired with other bracelets, this bangle makes a beautiful statement that is perfect for everyday wear!
Measurements: The inside of the bracelet (where a wrist would rest) measures 2 1/8" wide and 1 7/8" tall, and would fit nicely on an average to medium sized wrist. The surface of the bangle measures approximately 1" wide.
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no serious damage to the sterling setting, or to the gold overlay accents. The hinge and push clasp are secure and in good working condition.
