Beautiful agate earrings from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This stunning pair of Scottish agate earrings display a dramatic abstract shape which hangs from a silver earring wire. The earrings display 16 pieces of faceted orange agate speckled with moss green and brown as well as 12 pieces of deep green and orange speckled agate slabs. The entire boarder of the earrings are etched with simple linear engraving. Detailing the tops of the earrings are balls of silver shot detail, adding a little extra something for the eye to look at. Completing the design are simple silver wires, so these earrings are ready to wear. They would make a fabulous addition to any collection!
Measurements: The earrings hang approximately 2 1/4" long, 5/8" at the widest point.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. There is no apparent damage to the agate or to the sterling silver earring or wires.
