A stunning turquoise festoon necklace from the Victorian (ca1900s) era! Crafted in sterling silver, this necklace begins with a thin curb link chain, which secures with a spring ring clasped marked "STERLING". The chain is decorated with 2 rows of bezel-set turquoise stones, which range in color, shape, and size. The stones range between light blue, teal, and dark green, but all feature lovely matrix inclusions. The first row of turquoise stones is dispersed amongst the curb link chain, and the second row dangles freely, adding lovely movement to the necklace. The center of the necklace features a large, oval-shaped turquoise stone, which acts as the necklace's focal point. A colorful and versatile piece, this festoon necklace would look lovely worn on any individual!
Measurements: The necklace has a total length of 15 1/4". The lowest turquoise extension hangs 7/8" off of the chain.
Condition: The overall condition of the necklace is excellent. There is no apparent damage to the sterling chain, and the spring ring clasp is secure and in working order. All of the turquoise stones are intact and securely set.
