A wonderful hamsa pendant necklace from the Vintage (ca1960s) era! Crafted in both 14k and 18k yellow gold, this piece begins with a dainty cable chain, which secures with a spring ring clasp. The clasp is marked with a "750" purity mark. The chain is accompanied by a large hamsa-motif pendant, which is adorned with intricate-engravings and a central, blue-toned, glass eye. The engravings include an "evil eye", fish, floral, and foliage-motifs. The front of the pendant also features milgrain outlining. The backside of the piece is smooth and simple, and is marked with a "14K" purity mark. The top of the pendant features a complimentary bail, which allows the piece to easily glide along the gold chain. A bold pendant necklace, this piece would look lovely worn alone or paired with other Vintage-era necklaces!
Measurements: The chain has a total length of 16". The hamsa pendant has a length of 1 1/2" (including the complimentary bail) and a width of 15/16".
Condition: The overall condition of the pendant necklace is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold chain or setting. The spring ring clasp is secure and in working order, and the bail which connects the pendant to the chain is intact.
