A colorful opal pendant necklace from the Vintage (ca1960s) era! Crafted in 14k yellow gold, this necklace begins with a unique gold chain, which is comprised of alternating oblong links and dainty cable chain. The chain secures with a spring ring clasp, which is marked with a "14KT" purity mark. The chain is accompanied by a lovely pendant, which features prong-set, pear cut opal. The 4ct opal displays vibrant flashes of red, green, blue and orange. The opal is surrounded by a border of 8, prong-set single cut diamonds, which have an approximate total carat weight of .40ctw, and display H/I color and VS1-VS2 clarity. The top of the pendant features a complimentary bail, which allows the piece to slide gracefully along the chain. The bail is also marked with a "14K" purity mark. A gorgeous pendant necklace, this piece would look lovely worn alone or paired with other Vintage-era necklaces!
Measurements: The chain has a total length of 16", and the pendant has a height of 1" and a width of 1/2".
Condition: The overall condition of the pendant necklace is excellent. There is no apparent damage to the gold chain, and the spring ring clasp is secure and in working order. All of the opals and diamonds are intact and securely set. The complimentary bail is intact and in working order.
