A bold Mexican opal ring from the Vintage (ca1960s) era! Crafted in sterling silver, this ring features a solitaire, bezel-set Mexican opal. The stone is simply mesmerizing, displaying flashes of amber, golden yellow, vibrant green, and mocha brown. The opal is further surrounded by a dissected sterling border, and the shoulders of the ring feature a faux split-design. The shoulders are also adorned with sunburst-motif engravings, and the remainder of the hefty band is smooth and simple. The inside of the shank features a maker's mark which reads: "AJ" and a "STERLING" purity mark. An eye-catching ring, this piece would make a one-of-a-kind addition to any Vintage-era jewelry collection!
Measurements: The ring is a size 10.5, but could easily be resized. The band has a width of 5.17mm.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling silver setting, and the opal is intact and securely set.
