Art Deco Carved Jade & Seed Pearl Filigree Ring
A fantastic jade ring from the Art Deco (ca1930) era! This beautiful ring is made of vibrant 14kt yellow gold and features an artistic jade plaque that rests in the center of a decorative filigree mounting. The jade displays a wonderful, pale green color with a subtle milky hue marbled throughout. The surface of the jade is intricately hand-carved with soft cutout shapes that depict a beautiful flower contained within a basket. Surrounding the jade plaque is a row of delicate natural seed pearls, which have a beautiful luster and soft white color. Completing the design is an exceptional filigree wirework gold setting with delicate gold leaves that adorn the shoulders of the ring. A very special Art Deco era piece, it looks fabulous when worn and would make a unique addition to any collection!
Measurements: The ring has small finger size of 6.75 but could be easily resized if desired.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the yellow gold setting, seed pearls, or to the carved jade plaque.
