An absolutely exceptional retro emerald ring from the ca1940s! The ring, which is made of 18K, has a natural cabochon emerald set within it. The stone, which is oval in shape, has an exquisite, luscious green color with an approximate weight of 8ctw. The emerald is bezel set with gold beading that goes around the center stone to give it nice detail. The stone is bezel set with split shanks on the sides. The 18K mounting is smooth and simple. It's an absolutely magnificent ring and would make a perfect addition to any collection!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 6.5 but could easily be re-sized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the 18K mounting or to the emerald which has natural surface inclusions.
