A fantastic set from the Retro (ca1960s)era! This beautiful earring and pendant necklace set is created by Carrera y Carrera! Crafted in 18kt white and yellow gold, the earrings and pendant depict an elegant woman of royalty wearing a white gold headdress encrusted with glittering Round Cut diamonds with a Marquis-shaped emerald accent at its yellow gold center. The woman's skin is of mattified yellow gold with a soft expression, and she wears delicate Pear-shaped ruby cabochon earrings that dangle freely, and a diamond collar completes her refined look. The earrings are secured by a yellow gold post and latch back, marked "750" and with the Carrera y Carerra hallmark. The pendant secures to an 18kt yellow gold Figaro chain (marked "Carrera y Carrera" with a serial number) by a simple white gold bail. The chain closes with a unique spring-loaded latch. The earrings and pendant necklace are each accompanied by an authenticity card, a lovely powder blue and black leatherette pouch with a matching tassel and gold embossed Carrera y Carrera logo, one branded polishing cloth, and a matching box. A unique and intriguing set, this would be a gorgeous addition to any designer collection!
Measurements: The necklace measures 15 1/2" in length. Each figure measures nearly 5/8" tall, slightly more than 3/8" wide, and 3/16" deep excluding the bail and earring backings.
Condition: The earrings and necklace are in excellent antique condition. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting. All of the diamonds, emeralds, and rubies are intact and securely set. The earring post and backings, the bail, the chain, and its latch are all secure and in good working condition. The accompanying authenticity cards, pouches, and boxes are in good condition.
