A Wonderful heart locket from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This charming heart-shaped locket is crafted in 14kt yellow gold, and has a beautiful floral motif in white enamel. At the center are three sparkling Mine Cut shared prong set diamonds. The locket opens to display a removable round frame to store a special photograph inside, and the locket hangs from a beautiful seed pearl chain with a spring ring closure. It's a fantastic piece and would make a perfect addition to any collection!
Measurements: The locket hangs approximately 9 1/2" long (including the chain), and measures about 3/4" wide.
Condition: The overall condition of the locket and chain is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or to the enameling which is free or chips and scratches. All of the pearls are intact and securely set. The locket and bail are secure and in good working order.
