Art Deco Platinum Diamond & Sapphire Ring 1.47ct
An outstanding diamond engagement ring from the Art Deco era! This breathtaking platinum ring has a beautiful "step-up" style mounting adorned with sparkling diamonds and french cut sapphires. A gorgeous European Cut diamond rests at the center, held within a square 4-prong setting. The center stone weighs 1.47ct and has I color and VS1 clarity. Lining the "steps" of the mounting are 4 French Cut diamonds, which are channel set and surrounded by fine milgrain detail. The French Cut diamonds have a combined carat weight of .50ctw with H-I range color and VS-SI1 range clarity. The final steps of the mounting hold a sapphire at each side, displaying a vivid blue color and milgrained bezel setting. The side of the mounting displays an attractive airline, and the sides and edges are enhanced with lovely engraved detail. Stamped inside the shank is "PLAT" beside a small maker's mark. The ring comes with an appraisal issued by an independent and accredited GIA certified Graduate Gemologist in January 2017, and has a stated retail replacement value of $16,000.00. It's a truly magnificent piece and would make a stunning engagement ring!
