Edwardian 14kt Moonstone & Diamond Drop Earrings
A stunning pair of moonstone and diamond drop earrings! This conversion design is comprised of Edwardian (ca1910) era elements, which combine to create a stunning compilation. Crafted in 14kt gold, each surmount is lined with a row of delicate mine cut diamonds, which are individually bezel set. Together, they weigh approximately .50ctw, and add a beautiful sparkle! Dangling freely below is an alluring moonstone cabochon, which rests in an open white gold bezel setting. The moonstones are very clear, and have a beautiful pale blue color and iridescent flash. Completing the design are simple gold wires at the top, giving lovely movement to the design. Both elegant and feminine, they would look wonderful worn day or night!
Measurements: The earrings hang 1 1/4" long, including the wire tops. Each moonstone cabochon measures approximately 3/8" in size.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or to the earring wires, which are secure. The diamonds and moonstones are intact, securely set, and free of any apparent chips or surface scratches.
