Victorian 14kt Seed Pearl Crescent & Enamel Flower Pin
A beautiful and artistic pin from the Victorian (ca1880) era! Made of 14kt yellow gold, this gorgeous pin features a lovely enameled flower cradled within the center of a crescent moon. The petals of the 3-dimensional flower are hand-painted in beautiful shades of violet blue and pale green enamel. A single seed pearl is nestled at the center, and a curled gold stem peaks out from underneath. The surface of the crescent moon is lined with delicate natural seed pearls, which are pave set and graduate in size. On the back of the pin is a bar pin and c-catch clasp, allowing it to fasten securely to a favorite garment. This stunning antique brooch would make a special addition to any collection!
Measurement: The pin measures approximately 3/4" wide, 7/8" tall, and 1/8" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the pin is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or to the enamel details. All of the seed pearls are intact and securely set. The clasp fastens securely and is in good working condition.
