Victorian 14kt/Sterling Petite Diamond Crescent Pendant Necklace 1.00ctw
A gorgeous crescent necklace from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This lovely piece consists of a petite crescent moon conversion pendant hanging from a modern 14kt yellow gold chain. The pendant, which is crafted in 14kt yellow gold topped in sterling silver, adorns fifteen sparkling old Mine and Rose Cut diamonds set along the surface. Lining the center of the crescent are nine graduating old Mine Cut diamonds and shimmering at each tip are three Rose Cut diamonds. Collectively, the overall diamond weight of the pendant is approximately 1.00ctw. Completing the design is a modern yellow gold chain that attaches to the top of the crescent, fastening in the back with a simple lobster clasp stamped "14K". This celestial piece is both beautiful and feminine, and would look wonderful worn day or night!
Measurements: The entire necklace measures 18.5" long, including the pendant and the diamond crescent measures a little less than 3/4" tall and wide.
Condition: The overall condition of the necklace is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling topped gold setting or to any of the diamonds, all of which are secure and intact. The chain and clasp are secure and in excellent working condition.
