Art Deco Natural Coral Bead Double Strand Necklace
A wonderful coral necklace from the Art Deco era (ca1880)! This simple and lovely design features two strands of natural coral beads, which are hand strung on colored thread and knotted in between. The beads vary in size and shape, and all are smoothly polished, displaying a wonderful range of rich natural shades. The double strands meet at a gold filigree flower clasp in the back. The necklace drapes beautifully when worn, with one strand nested just inside the other, creating an effortless layered look. A beautiful natural piece, this everyday necklace adds a perfect pop of color and is perfect for the coral lover!
Measurements: The necklace measures approximately 22" long, including the clasp. The beads vary in size and shape, ranging between 3-8mm in size. The filigree clasp has a 1/2" diameter.
Condition: The overall condition of the necklace is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to any of the coral beads, all of which are intact and securely strung. The clasp fastens securely and is in good working condition.
