Art Deco Platinum Diamond Engagement Ring 0.58ct
A lovely handmade ring from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! Made of platinum, this beautiful ring has a sparkling old European Cut diamond set in the center. The center stone weighs approximately 0.58ct, has I color and VS2 clarity and the diamond is prong set within a box setting, sitting prominently above a decorative mounting. Accenting the center stone are 6 additional diamonds, which rest on either shoulder in diamond shaped boxed settings. These diamonds are Single Cut stones and have a total approximate weight of 0.15ctw, G-H range color and VS range clarity. Completing the elegant design are delicate airline cutouts, fine milgrained detail and hand etched accents. The lovely and feminine design of the ring is simply magnificent! The shank is stamped "10%IRID.PLAT" along with a "B.B" maker's hallmark. The ring was appraised by an accredited and independent GIA-certified Gemologist in June 2016 and has a stated retail replacement value of $3,800.00 It is absolutely breathtaking when worn and would make a very special engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring is a finger size 5.75 but could easily be re-sized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting, and all of the diamonds are intact.
