Art Deco Platinum French Cut Diamond & Sapphire Line Bracelet
An absolutely stunning and unusual diamond and sapphire line bracelet from the Art Deco (ca1920-30s) era! Made of platinum, this gorgeous piece is comprised of 28 total links accented with French Cut diamond and natural sapphires, which wrap around the entire length of the piece. Each faceted stone is held within a box setting, 4 stones per link, creating a straight but flexible channel design. The design carries a dramatic pattern with alternating sections of sapphires and diamonds, separated by 4 solid diamond links. Fine milgrained detail runs along the edges of the bracelet, perfectly accenting the look of the piece and a hand engraved design can be found along the sides. With a total of 64 stones, the overall diamond weight measures approximately 12+ctw and the stones have a VS clarity range and H-I color range. The 48 natural sapphires measure approximately 6+ctw in total and have exquisite blue color. The bracelet has an 18kt white gold push clasp hidden within one of the links along with a fold over safety catch and the tongue is stamped "DROSTEN" along with 3 touch marks: 2 masked faces and an owl. The bracelet has a very striking look and would be beautiful worn by itself or grouped with other complimentary line bracelets!
Measurements: The bracelet measures approximately 7 3/8" long, is 1/4" wide and 1/8" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting, and all of the French Cut diamonds and sapphires are intact. The clasp and safety catch are all secure and in good working condition.
